Visitor Services

The Forks Ambassadors
Representing both The Forks North Portage Partnership and Parks Canada through a unique pairing of efforts, The Forks Ambassadors provide free meet and greet services to tour operators and groups during the high season (May long weekend to Thanksgiving). The volunteer corps of Ambassadors also assist in booking activities, tours and river excursions.

In the high season find the Ambassadors at the visitor services booth located inside the Explore Manitoba Centre.

Would you like to be an Ambassador?
Are you bilingual, have excellent people skills and love meeting people from around the world? If so, The Forks Volunteer Coordinator would like to hear from you! The Forks Ambassadors meet and greet visitors, lead historical interpretive tours, attend special events and many other activities. Time commitment is one shift a week.

Contact Lynne Rochon at 987-4372 or lynne.rochon@tf-np.ca to book your tour, to become a Forks Ambassador or for more information on the Children's Winter Adventure program .
